The Sebastian story started in 1972 when Geri and John Cusenza created the crimping iron. Made famous by Barbara Streisand, they sold thousands in just 2 days. The Cusenzas made history and Sebastian Professional was born. Since then and to this day, the Sebastian name is synonymous with innovation, daring and edgy styles and some of the best professional products in the industry.
1984 Los Angeles - The Hair industry is revolutionized. Introduced at a hair show, in front of thousands of people, the first ever hairspray that could be used upside down. A working Aerosol? Unheard of. People couldn’t take their eyes off of it and it instantly became an icon in salons, TV sets, homes and fashion shows.

DESCRIPTION
Ammonia, Alcohol and Peroxide- free colorizing gloss treatment. Cellophanes are GOOD FOR HAIR and GOOD FOR EVERYONE. Anionic dyes deposit on the outer layer of the hair cuticle rather than breaking through it like most direct dyes – so each strand is layered with transparent, shiny colour and gorgeous gloss for up to 4 weeks. Perfect for natural or colour-treated hair craving an instant boost.
WHY CELLOPHANES?
Its 85% water-based formula strengthens hair and enhances the shine of any natural or colored-hair while preserving its natural moisture balance and protecting against UV. Cellophanes Shine complex locks in vibrancy and illuminates each strand with translucent colour up to 4 weeks.
BEST USAGE
Use the chart to determine the appropriate shade or mix. Prepare hair using Sebastian shampoo. Do not use conditioner at this stage. Towel dry to 75% then comb through. Part hair into four sections. Apply Cellophanes, avoiding the scalp. Wrap hair in cap and place under heat for 15-20 minutes. Allow hair to cool for five minutes before rinsing well with lukewarm water. Follow with your preferred Sebastian shampoo and conditioner.
